But underneath all of that… something feels off.

 

You’re exhausted in a way that sleep doesn’t fix.
Your mind is always running.
You snap at the people you love and then feel terrible afterwards.

 

Sometimes you catch yourself thinking:

 

Why does everything feel so heavy?
Why am I so angry all the time?
How did my life end up feeling like this?

 

You keep pushing through because that’s what you’ve always done.

But inside, you’re tired of carrying everything.

The burnout cycle most women don’t realize they’re in

Many of the women I work with are caught in what I call the over-functioning trap.

 

They are used to being:

  • the capable one

  • the dependable one

  • the one who holds everything together

 

So they keep going, even when their body and mind are begging them to stop.

 

Eventually this shows up as:

  • constant exhaustion

  • irritability or resentment

  • anxiety or racing thoughts

  • feeling emotionally numb or disconnected

  • losing touch with what you even enjoy anymore

 

You might still be getting everything done but it doesn’t feel good anymore.

I understand this because I lived it

Years ago my body forced me to stop. I had been doing everything for everyone else for so long that I didn’t even know what I liked or needed anymore.

 

I thought my anger was anger. It wasn’t. Underneath it was sadness, loneliness and the realization that I had slowly abandoned myself. 

 

I had built my identity around being capable, independent, and strong. Admitting something wasn’t working felt like failure.

 

By 2017, it became impossible to ignore.

Burnout.
Anxiety.
Depression.
Deep exhaustion.
Autoimmune illness.

 

My body simply couldn’t keep living the way I had been.

What felt like a breaking point at the time became a turning point.

 

Instead of trying to push through or fix myself, I began to slow down and listen. I turned toward mindfulness, yoga, and nervous-system-led practices, not as another thing to achieve, but as a way to understand what my body and mind had been trying to tell me all along.

Little by little, I started reconnecting with myself, my needs, my energy, my voice. Over time, the pressure I had been living under began to soften, and life started to feel calmer, steadier, and more like my own again.

That journey changed everything.

Inside our work together we use my A.L.I.G.N. Method, a step-by-step process that helps you move out of survival mode and reconnect with yourself again.

A - AWARENESS

We slow things down and start noticing the patterns driving burnout. The over-responsibility, perfectionism. The belief that your worth comes from doing everything and being of value. This is where clarity begins.

L - LOVE

Most women I work with are incredibly kind to everyone else but harsh with themselves. We begin practicing self-respect, boundaries, and asking for support in small, real-life ways that actually stick.

I - INTUITION

When you’ve spent years prioritizing everyone else, it’s easy to lose trust in your own voice. Here we begin reconnecting with your body, emotions, and inner knowing so you learn how to recognize what truly feels right for you.

G - GROWTH

This is where your life starts to feel different. You begin making choices based on what actually supports your energy, not what you think you should do. Decision-making becomes clearer, you stop second-guessing yourself and your relationships become more honest and deeply connected.

N - NURTURE

Finally we build a way of living that supports you long-term. Simple rhythms and practices that protect your energy so you don’t fall back into burnout again. This is where women begin to feel calmer, more present, and more like themselves again.
