Why this matters...
When you’ve been in overdrive for a long time, slowing down does not always feel easy.
Not because you’re bad at resting.
Not because you’re doing it wrong.
But because your body has learned to stay in go-mode.
That’s why you can know you need rest and still keep pushing.
Why calm can feel unfamiliar.
Why ease can feel uncomfortable.
Why you keep going back to the same patterns, even when part of you knows something needs to change.
Burnout is not a personal failure.
It's often a nervous system response to carrying too much for too long.
You do not need to try harder.
You need safety.
You need support.
You need space to come back to yourself.
That’s what Coming Home begins to offer.
Hi, I'm Mel....
BURNOUT & ALIGNMENT COACH | YOGA TEACHER
I know what it’s like to look like you’re holding everything together while quietly running on empty inside.
For years, I lived in push mode, coping, managing, staying strong, and telling myself I was fine. But underneath that, I was exhausted, disconnected, and constantly overriding what I actually needed.
What I came to understand is that I wasn’t broken.
I was burned out.
And I didn’t need more pressure or more discipline.
I needed to slow down enough to hear myself again.
Through mindfulness, nervous system support, and learning how to listen inward, I began to relate to myself differently.
Coming Home is a gentle starting point for that same return.
Not a reset.
Not something else to keep up with.
Just a soft place to begin.
