In 15+ years as a holistic nutritionist, and through my own experience with burnout and perimenopause, I’ve worked with women who look like they’re holding it all together, while quietly running on empty underneath.

The women who begin to change are the women who finally stop trying to force themselves back into the version of themselves that survival mode created.

 

They begin to understand that their body isn’t betraying them.

It’s responding to years of stress, over-functioning, depletion, and carrying too much for too long.

 

That gap, between surviving and truly understanding what’s driving it, is why Life Beyond Burnout exists.

Hi, I'm Mel,

For years, I was doing everything for everyone else and slowly losing myself in the process.


From the outside, I looked like I had it together and that life was great but beneath the masks, I was overwhelmed, disconnected, always pushing through but feeling numb.

I thought my anger was just anger, but underneath it was sadness, loneliness, and the realization that I had abandoned myself.

I had built my identity around being capable and strong, so admitting something wasn’t working felt like failure.

 

By 2017, my body forced me to stop.
Burnout.

Anxiety.

Depression.

Deep exhaustion.

Autoimmune illness.

A nervous system that didn't know how to switch off

I began to understand what was actually going on beneath the surface and started to see how my patterns, my nervous system, and the way I was living were all connected.

I learned how to work with my body instead of against it.

And that's what I can do for you.

Life Beyond Burnout: A 5-week guided experience for midlife women who are exhausted from carrying so much for so long

This is a 5-week online group experience where I guide you through understanding what’s really happening underneath the exhaustion, overwhelm, anxiety, over-functioning, and constant mental load so many women in midlife are carrying.

Not just mentally, but physically, emotionally, hormonally, and within the nervous system too.

 

Because when you’ve spent years pushing through, holding everything together, and putting yourself last, eventually your whole system starts responding.

 

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to know where to start.

Here's how our five weeks together will look:

(May 25) Week 1: Why Everything Feels So Heavy

Understand what burnout actually is beneath the surface and why your exhaustion, brain fog, anxiety, irritability, overwhelm, and constant “on” feeling make sense. We’ll begin looking at the nervous system, chronic stress, depletion, emotional load, and the reality of what many women in midlife are navigating behind the scenes.

(June 1) Week 2: Breaking the Burnout Cycle

Start recognizing the patterns that keep women stuck in burnout, the people-pleasing, over-functioning, over-responsibility, perfectionism, emotional suppression, and constantly pushing through. Because you can’t change patterns you’ve spent decades surviving inside of until you actually see them clearly.

(June 8) Week 3: Learning to Listen to Yourself Again 

Reconnect with your needs, your body, your emotions, and the parts of yourself that have been buried underneath years of taking care of everyone else. This week is about rebuilding trust with yourself after years of overriding what you feel, need, and know.

(June 15) Week 4: Letting Things Change in Real Life 

Begin making small, sustainable shifts in your everyday life: how you respond to stress, what you say yes to, how you move through your day, and how much pressure you keep placing on yourself. Through nervous-system-safe change that actually fits into real life.


(June 22) Week 5: Supporting Yourself Differently

Create more supportive rhythms around rest, boundaries, nourishment, emotional regulation, and energy so you stop constantly ending up back in survival mode. Because healing burnout is about creating a way of living your body can actually sustain.
