​There is a lot of talk about the physical symptoms of perimenopause but I personally found the emotional and mental side to be just as challenging, if not more. From sudden mood swings, rage and irritability to anxiety, brain fog, and a sense of losing your identity, these shifts can affect every part of your life. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure of how to cope. But with the right tools, community, and self-compassion, it’s possible to navigate this transition with greater ease and confidence.
Embrace the Change is here to help you reconnect with yourself, find calm and ease, and embrace this new chapter with confidence and self-compassion.

Why I Created This Retreat
Perimenopause took me by surprise - not the physical changes, but the emotional rollercoaster that came with it. I experienced mood swings, rage episodes, depression, and a sense of disconnection from myself that I wasn’t prepared for. It wasn’t just about hot flashes or hormonal shifts; it was about sometimes feeling like a stranger in my own mind.
I created Embrace the Change because I know how isolating this journey can feel, and I believe no woman should have to navigate it alone. This retreat is a safe space where we can come together, share openly, and support one another through this stage in our life.

During this 3.5-hour retreat, you’ll be guided through practices designed to support your body, mind, and spirit during perimenopause:

Teaching and discussion on navigating the mental and emotional impacts of perimenopause, with space to share and ask questions.

Practical Tools for managing the emotions and mental stress, plus take-home resources.

Space is limited
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund if you cancel more than 30 days before the date of the retreat. A 50% refund if cancellation is within 30 days of the retreat unless we can get your spot filled, then you will receive a 100% refund minus any processing costs. If retreat is cancelled due to Covid-19 or any other reason, a 95% refund is provided.

Hi, I'm Mel
Soulful Living Coach & Yoga Teacher
For many years, I lived disconnected from my true self, shape-shifting to fit the “shoulds” and “supposed to” of life. I hid behind perfectionism and people-pleasing, wearing a mask that kept me busy and striving, yet deeply unfulfilled. Beneath the surface, I battled negative self-talk, burnout, and a lack of self-worth.
​
Everything changed in 2017 when I began experiencing debilitating panic attacks. My body, tired of being ignored, sent me a loud wake-up call. I was diagnosed with depression, osteoarthritis, and an autoimmune thyroid condition. It was clear I needed to stop, listen, and take a hard look at how I was living.
I realized I wasn’t just disconnected from my body—I was disconnected from my mind and soul. Despite having everything I thought I wanted, I felt empty and numb. I didn’t know who I was anymore or what brought me joy.
That was when I began a journey back to myself. Through yoga, meditation, and daily moments of intentional self-care, I started to reconnect with what truly nourished me. Walking in nature, resting, listening to soulful music, and simply allowing myself to pause became part of my healing. Slowly, I felt my energy return, my spark reignite, and my heart open.
But the real transformation came when I began to peel back the layers that had been dimming my light for years. I unpacked the limiting beliefs and old narratives that told me I wasn’t enough. I started to speak to myself with compassion and kindness, set boundaries, and most importantly, I began to believe in my worth.
This wasn’t about becoming someone new—it was about remembering who I’ve always been. I found my way back home to myself, my authentic self, and discovered the joy, power, and magic that comes from living aligned with your heart.
Now, it’s my passion to guide others on their journey back to themselves. Whether through soulful coaching, yoga, or heart-centered practices, I’m here to help you reconnect with your mind, body, and soul—to remember who you are and create a life that feels true to you.
